Part 2: Whispers in the dark

Although cousin M. gave Miss Lucy a nice stack of books, she's already read at least half of them. Her eyes seem watery and she's becoming very pale. She looks like the death itself when the candle light is illuminating her face late at night. The books seem to be sucking the life out of her. The books are about some things that a young girl's mind shouldn't be bothered with. They are making her jumpy and paranoid; she often hears whispers right before she falls asleep.
"Luuuucy, Luuuucy" - they call her.
She's unaware that she's getting out of bed and wanders around the house during the night, but is she alone? Is there really someone there? What will happen to our young Lucy?
